The original intent of establishing this web site was  to let people who liked the blues, R&B and Swamp Pop music know that there was a show that not only played this type of music, but also supported the music of local Baton Rouge and South Louisiana musicians.  As this project got underway, it was evident that listeners did not have one location to go to and find this music for them to purchase.  Therefore, Louisiana Gumbo Music is attempting to make all of this great music available for you right here.  Check out all of the blues and R&B musicians that started right here in Baton Rouge.

   It will take time to get all of the C.D.’s on the site.  If you can’t find a particular C.D. or musician, please let us know.  We will try to find it for you.
